Last year 22 year old actor/comedian Kayode Ewumi became a viral sensation after he debuted his self-made mockumentary, Hood Documentary.

Posted on YouTube, the comedy followed the daily life of aspiring MC Reece aka R.S. (Roll Safe) and it received rave reviews from critics including Vice, who described Ewumi’s character as 'somewhere between David Brent, MC Grindah and Chris Eubank’. A sequel followed shortly after, catching the attention of BBC Three who worked with Ewumi on six more episodes for the third series, which were made available on iPlayer. Now the up and coming actor has landed the role of Mr Conway in the remake of hit sitcom Are You Being Served?, making him only the second black/minority actor to take a role in the sitcom since 1985.
